love with the chosen field. It’s essential to find a career that you enjoy – after all, a majority of your time will be spent at work. Look at the tips below to help you find a new career.

  1. Turn your hobby into a career. Do you have something that you do on the side that you love? For example, are you interested in the stock market? Consider a career to trade Forex online. You’ll be doing something that you are passionate about, and still making money.
  2. Volunteer. It might sound counterproductive, but volunteering can actually open up all kinds of new doors for you. Volunteering helps us find what we truly enjoy. In addition, those you network with while volunteering could help you land your dream job.
  3. Go back to school. Many people, even those with well-established careers, go back to school to study a new subject. Interests change as the years go by and going back to school may help you hone in on those subjects you really care about. Moreover, education in today’s economic climate is always a plus.
  4. Get a part time job. If you think you may be interested in a particular field, like marketing, but you still need your full-time job, you could find a part-time or freelance job in marketing to see if you really do love the field. Sometimes, we just think we might like a career change, when the reality is that career isn’t interesting either. Some part time work, while you still have a full time job could help you decide.
